From Ashes to a Boutique: Our Story, Spring 2026, and What's Coming Next

There's a verse that has carried our family through some of the hardest seasons of our lives: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." — Romans 8:28. We've held onto that promise tighter than we ever imagined we'd need to.

Where It All Began

In 2018, our family lost our home to a fire. In an instant, so much of what we had built was gone. But God has a way of turning what feels like an ending into a beginning — and that's exactly what He did for us.

Out of that season of loss, Modest and Devoted was born. I'm Stephanie, and together with my daughter Abby, we started this little boutique right here in Grenada, Mississippi, with a simple but deeply held conviction: that women of faith deserve beautiful, stylish clothing that honors God and reflects who they are. We wanted a place where modest fashion wasn't an afterthought — where it was the whole point.

What started as a dream in the middle of heartbreak has grown into something we are so incredibly grateful for. Every order, every kind message, every photo of a customer wearing one of our pieces to church or a family gathering — it fills our hearts in ways we can't fully put into words. You are why we do this.
